Cancellation Policy

Dog Walking Cancellation Policy:

If the cancellation occurs too late to avoid the dog walker showing up for the scheduled appointment, the client will be billed for the intended walking service.

Pet sitting Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

50% deposit is due at booking. If the booking is cancelled up to 48 hours prior to commencement of the pet sitting assignment, the client can choose to have the deposit refunded or credited to their account to be applied towards future services. If the booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the pet sitting assignment, the deposit will be forfeited.

We believe that our dog walkers and pet sitters deserve to be paid when their work is cancelled on short notice. The cancellation of one or two visits may not seem a big deal, but just imagine if several clients cancel a few visits in the same week. We want to keep our valued dog walkers and pet sitters happy and compensated fairly so we choose to pay them when services are cancelled on short notice.

Our cancellation policies have been put in place so that North Jersey Dog Walkers can serve our clients and their pets in the most effective, efficient and highly regarded manner as possible. We love what we do and are proud to provide the excellent services that we have become known for.
